The problem with you saying that a PG/SG "can play 3 positions on the Suns" is that the Suns automatically think that means they can put him in at the 5....

Uh, no. Coro doesn't share information with Gambo. LOL No way in hell.

Gambo is, however, a family summer vacation partner with a guy named Sarver. This is 100 percent true.

Yeah. Gambo became a credible source when Sarver bought the team. Before that he was just throwing crap at a wall seeing what stuck.

Iman Shumpert could be Rajon Rondo like on defensive end, along with the rebounding numbers and steals... he made twice as many 3PTers but had similar percantages there (his weakness). He makes 4.5 free throws a game though at around 80 percent.

Rondo made around one assist more a game. Shumpert is super athletic and has more size than Rondo - 3PT shooting will need to improve but can play 3 positions on the Suns.

So, why get rid of Dragic? He could handle the ball better than Shumpert, was a better shooter and was a good defender at two positions.

Shumpert is a bonehead that makes horrible decisions on the floor. He cannot think or perform under pressure. He is Earl Clark number two in that he has all the talent in the world and no brain to go with it. Show me an athletic pg without a brain and I will show you a worthless player.

Show me a point guard who doesnt pass and I will show you an even more worthless player. At least with Shumpert you are getting something better then Eddie House.

And for someone who likes to drop in here every now and then and talk about having inside info on the Suns(and point out where others do not),he consistently doesn't provide any himself.

I've never once said I hear everything that goes on. When I do say something -- like the Suns will never offer Amare the max or the Suns will not trade Nash -- you can take it to the bank I'm not just making blind predictions. These are things coming from the GM's office. So basically what you're criticizing me for is maintaining my credibility and not throwing out every fourth-hand rumor I hear.

I guess I take that as a compliment. ;)

Taking Markief Morris ahead of guys like Tristan Thompson and Bismack Biyombo would be like taking Robin Lopez ahead of Marreese Speights and Roy Hibbert.

So we should definitely expect that.

Rumors are going around that Thompson will go in the Top 5 and Biyombo will go in the Top 10 well according to the lastest buzz and mock drafts. Markieff Morris is someone who I think could help us out next year. PHX should try and get another 1st rounder and get Shumpert or someone like Nolan Smith.

All I can say is it's amazing what you can learn when you buy the right person a venti cafe mocha (four shots).

:D

FWIW, I don't think Coro withholds much. If you read his blog, you've read just about everything reliable he's heard. Unless there's some kind of embargo or he just doesn't want to burn a source, he only keeps out the garbage. He's one of the best NBA beat writers because of it. This town is pretty lucky to have someone on the beat who loves what he does. There's no shortage of beat writers who dream of some other gig.

Not sure I would go with Gambo's word the guy has not been right about much. This is the same guy that said it was a done deal for Kobe and Tmac to play here.

Think about how long ago that was. Ever since Sarver took over he's been spot on, and I really don't see how anyone would be surprised if the Suns blew yet another 1st round draft pick(another constant in the Sarver reign).

Williams isn't really undersized. He is basically 6'9 and 250lbs and did most benchpress repititions in the entire draft so strength is obviously there.

6'9"/247 and the mindset of a 3, which is fine if you are a team that wants a banger 3. This guy could be an Anthony Mason/Larry Johnson type with his build. I'd be fine with him here, but not with the current mindset that the FO feels they need to convince him to play the 4....

This is such GARBAGE... Jimmer Fredette averaged more APG than Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, AND had the exact same line as Kyrie Irving...

People who throw out stuff like Jimmer doesn't pass simply don't know the facts.. :bang:

All the Jimmer hate is just backlash over all his crazy publicity. I'm not taking any of the negative stuff about him seriously. The guy is a baller plain and simple. Pass on him at your own risk.

Iman Shumpert has crazy talent but I don't think he will be a good PG in the league.

I agree. The backlash on Jimmer is just making me intrigued. So many people are going out of their way to say what he can't do, I'm getting more interested in what he can.

I hope we get Jimmer. I'd be ecstatic. It's the #13th pick. Pick a random guy and run with it. And random guy this year hopefully will be Fredette!

He's not getting by #12.
