The guy is a winner. He's not afraid to take the big shot and he is a leader. He can shoot the lights out and his performance in the Olympics was outstanding. The problem I see with him is it's probably going to cost more than the million dollar exception to get him.

I think there will be many teams looking for his services. If somehow the Suns could sign him IMO, our point guard problems are over. I love the guy's play.

Nate Robinson was the best athlete in last year's combine. He really does play just like Boykins. The difference is he's about 4 inches taller and much, much stronger. I still think #21 is a little too early, but if he's the guy they really want I wouldn't be devastated. I would still rather have Diogu, Garcia, or even Ryan Gomes.

Joe the other difference is Boykins is a great shooter and Robinson isn't. the thing with Nate is he's really not a PG and he's really not a great shooter. He's improved his shooting every year, shot 39% on 3's this year but he's one of those guys teams dare to shoot because they don't want him driving where he's so dangerous. Boykins is the exact opposite, teams want him driving because he's such a good shooter.

The big question on Robinson is at the next level where guards routinely see their FG% drop, how effective will Nate be? Can he still get by on his exceptional quicks, hops and strength, or will his inconsistent outside shot come into play?

Same question really with Felton, Ray greatly improved his shooting this year but he's still a guy you'd rather have shooting jumpers than penetrating if you're guarding him.

I am beginning to think that Gambo knows more than some think about the suns and who they are going to draft.

Is anybody listening to him today?

I was beginning to wonder if you are in fact John Gambadoro. :)

Friday when I was listening to him on the radio he sounded as sure as you do that the Phoenix Suns will not take Diogu. You very well may be right about that. I'm still thinking it just depends on who else is on the board at the time. Like I have said in some other threads, I'll be able to take it if they pass on him for Petro or a couple of the guys. If they take Sean May, Wayne Simien, or worst of all MA passing on Ike Diogu I'll be upset.

Gambo isn't on the show today. Most days this would seem like a blessing. Today I'm not sure.

I'll admit I have only seen Robinson a few times. His numbers for last season the pretty good though. He shot 46.3% from the field and 38.5% from beyond the arc. I didn't see enough of him to know that he's fully capable of creating offense for his teammates. He is definitely a shoot first point guard, but that isn't always a bad thing. Is his midrange and outside shooting really inconsistent? Like I said, I haven't seen him enough to have a good feeling on that.
