I hope he's not. I was disappointed when he came back. That meant he was taking away from other players

I agree, dude really showed promise, then he started slumping and became injury prone. Came back from injury and he still can't hit, he's taking a roster spot from someone else.

lol yup, poked the bear, talked all that crap the first game and got absolutely embarassed without a fight the next 2 games, this team has no spine.
Archie's "leadership" routine sure got results.

Unfortunately . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

There are many Dbacks players that are easy to cheer for. Archie is not one of them for me.

The Manager's quote is very passive. When you win a game, use vague expressions
like "turning the corner".

How? When? His job is to plan and achieve progress, not just cheerlead. Granted, the
Dodgers are a super team. But having an orgasm because they won a game hardly
shows hope for the future.

That is one of the many reasons I have lost confidence in Torey Lovullo's 'leadership'.

It reminds me of the satire I wrote many decades ago after listening to Al McCoy
interviewing John MacLeod, Head Coach of the Phoenix Suns.

McCoy: "What's your plan for tonight's game, Coach?"

MadLeod: "Al, we last played Milwaukee, Al, on June 14th, Al, and lost to them, Al,
by a score, Al, of 132-87. Here's hoping, Al, that we do better tonight, Al."

McCoy: "Thanks, Coach for that insight."

That is an almost direct quote of a pre-game interview I heard.

P.S.: They didn't "turn the corner". The Bucks beat them again.
