Why is Koch on the roster while Duplantier is sent down to the minors?

I think because Duplantier is a starter. Using him in relief for a few innings when he first came up was a good idea to break the ice.

But to keep him in that capacity would not be a good idea. I look forward to seeing him try for a starter's role sometime in the future.

Seriously though, has Andriese ever really jave a great game with the Dbacks? I cantc think of one great game he has had this year and last year.

In the top of the 9th, the bases are loaded for the D-backs, including two hit-batters, with no outs.

Then a foul pop-up for the first out.

And now, the same as yesterday's game ended, Dyson is up against Leclerc. This time, Dyson draws a walk to force in a run. 5-2.

Tying run on 1B and the winning run at the plate and one out. A lefty is pitching for the Rangers.

And Escobar whiffs. Two outs. And up comes the Freight Train. One of his trademark doubles could tie the game.

Peralta lines a shot but the 1B makes a diving catch and the game ends 5-2.

We did split the 2-game series.

Thu. and Fri. at 6:30, Sat. at 5:00 and a day game Sun. at 1:00.
