We gave away the run. Walker couldn't pick a low throw from Ahmed.

Despite Walker and Lamb sharing the 1B position, 2B Flores is probably
the best (or only) fielding 1B on the team.

Then, although we had two runners on base, the D-backs scored on
an out to tie the score.

Is it me or is Walker just horrible at everything besides home runs? Im just not feeling it for him. I actually enjoyed seeing Cron.

I would like to see Cron brought up again
But it still bothers me that he will not be given the opportunity to start even two games in a row.

He is a power hitting 1B and better fielder than Walker or Lamb, but Torey Lovullo seems more
interested in protecting his mis-fits. Cron is the best hitter in all of the Minor Leagues, winning
honor after honor.

Cron is not getting any younger. I wish, for his sake, the D-backs would trade him to a team
who would give him a chance. He has earned the right to be more than a career Minor Leaguer.

It would make sense, not only for Cron, but the player we could get back on a trade.

Treating the situation the way they have seems illogical. But then, so do a lot of the D-backs
strategy this season. Illogical and inconsistent. Some players have a free ride for a long time
no matter how poorly they perform. Others are shuffled in and out of the rotation or the
Minors on a regular basis.

And, as I type this, a ball just bounced off the mitt of Walker. Followed by an error by
Escobar, who is regularly shuffled back and forth between positions. Quadruple switches
on a regular basis.

Torey Lovullo is his own worst enemy. Prior to his musical chairs this season, we were a good
fielding team.

Did you see the pre-game interview with Torey? He was asked about future games and said,
"I don't know." If the Manager doesn't, who would? 'Not making this up.

OK, I'll take a deep breath now and try to enjoy the rest of the game.

Walker should have made that play but it was drilled.

Are we sure Cron is a better fielder?

From what I saw, when he was given a small chance, he looked solid
and I don't recall seeing him not making a play he was supposed to.

I read that he even played 3B in the Minors. Better than Lamb, I'll bet. :)

Escobar gets on by an error. And scores on a wild pitch to take the lead.

Then a base hit drives in another run and we lead 3-1.

The Giants pitcher is gone.

Who wants to lose less? This has been a goofy game.

The goofiness continues. A passed ball and groundout produce
a Giants runs and the D-backs lead is down to one.

Alex Young is out, having given up no earned runs. McFarland is
in to pitch with a runner on 1st & one out.

Rojas, shuffled from position to position, can't make the catch in
LF. BB talked about how the angle of the ball in LF is different.

Tying and lead runs are on the bases for the Giants.

Bert just called the D-backs defense this game "sloppy".

A hit and the runner is out at the plate, after a belated
stop sign by the Giants 3B coach.

This is a "how not to" game on both sides!

Him striking out and looking lost?

You missed the Milwaukee series. Walker was the only offense we had. And not just HR

No we are not

Then Cron will get the at bats and then BC will start crying for Beers or Smith
So you're deciding what I'm going to say.

That is a weak debating tactic.

How about you post for you and I'll post for me.

Peace, brother.

Andriese puts a runner on, then leaves them loaded.

D-backs still lead.

You watching the Dbacks?

113 Hits for Walker. 23 HR 22 Doubles. Most walks on the team
I get it ive seen him hitting...hes just really pathetic at fielding ....and im being nice there. Im just not sold. Id rather have a good hitting good fielding 1st baseman. His numbers are goldy like this year but i just think his D is way below average
