Has Lamb ever been a difference maker? If he were to come back today, based on the past, it wouldn't change things.

Peralta and Jones are our only significant offense. Other teams have more than two.

And with our weak starting and reliefs corps, that spells mediocrity. Sad but true.

None of that changes the fact that Lamb was getting the nod over Walker coming out of ST.

Are we, the fans, concerned about who was anointed or who could fit the 1B position best?

Unfortunately, Lamb got off to a bad start and, now, so has Walker. With it being Walker's natural position on defense.

The bottom line is that a key hitting position has been disappointing.
