Starling singles him in. 8-6.

Peralta is the tying run with one out.

And once more, our fortunes suffer because Torey Lovullo refuses to put in his best reliever (Guerra) in a hold or win situation in the 8th. WTF is wrong with him?

Lovullo just brain farted yet again by not holding Starling on first. They were pitching to Walker until Starling took second. Anyone prefer Escobar to Walker at the plate this year? Because Torey just effectively took the bat out of Walker's hand and gave it to Escobar. Lovullo needs to be shown the door ASAP.

Escobar comes through. 8-7 with runners on first and third.

Wow. Lovullo blunders, but gets away with it...for now. Too bad he crapped the bed in terms of pitcher management in the 8th.

Too little, too late. Final - 8-7 Rockies.

But it sure looks better in the box score.

And I got to see a Coors circus, after all. :)

Man this ump is trash. How does a hotter know when to swing? This year seems like a very inconsistent zone.

MLB needs the electronic ball-strike call.
They absolutely do. That last at bat alone. Got a strike called a ball, then he made up by calling a ball a strike.he then gets a that outside pitch called for a strike, next one is on the same exact spot called for a ball. Then the last one is a ball and gets called a strike.

What the heck is a batter supposed to swing at?
