Dbacks were +19 going into today which is amazing considering that first series with LA.

BTW, Greinke becomes the first pitcher, possibly ever, with his triple today,
to hit for the cycle during the first month of the season.

I guess when you look at his hitting, along with all of the Gold Gloves for
fielding, and his being the ace, he's doing pretty well. :)

The D-backs sweep, their second on this road trip, where they went 8-2.

If the Cubs beat the Dodgers today, we'll be in 1st place by 1/2 game.

I'd like to thank the Diamondbacks for relieving us from PSS --
Post-Suns Syndrome. ;)

I see how it makes sense to trade him if you can get some real players but not just to shed salary. He is probably the best player on the team.

With the hitting carrying the team and us close to 1st place,
if we shed Greinke, it would be for another starting pitcher.

Wouldn't we consider shedding anyone only if we were not
competing? Or if we had a pitcher in the minors sure to
take over his spot? And, even then, to fill a deficiency,
such as an 8th inning reliever.

His family nickname is "Yaya".

Did Christian hit two opposite field doubles today
and continue to make good plays in the field?

Yaya. He sure did! :thumbup::thumbup:

And the 2019 Rookie of the Year goes to . . . Yaya. :)
