Maybe the ugliest NBA finals game ever played. Varejao's running left hander, LeBron misses 4 layups, Tim throws one away. This looked like the first week of the season, not the finals. I am not saying that the SUNS would save this finals but it would be prettier, but bottom line is that the Cavs suck.

Teams that would beat Cavs in finals...

Nuggets, Mavericks, Suns, Jazz, Rockets, Spurs, Warriors, and I think the Lakers would have a shot.

The Refs... err Spurs. Sorry I confuse them sometimes. Bowen BLATANTLY (read: tried to grab him) fouled LeBron on a potential game tying 3 with little time left on the clock RIGHT in front of the official and there was no call. I don't think I can stand to watch game 4...

What the heck was Anderson Varejo thinking? He should've give the ball back to Lebron!
Lebron James should have been shooting three free throws on that last play.

I broke my remote when Varejao took that shot. :\

Did anyone catch Bruce Bowen's interview at Half Time

"Well this is their home court.. I mean this is where they play their home games during the season, so its tough"

Michelle Tafoya was speechless, and pretty much ended the interview immediatly knowing it would only get worse....

Undoubtedly It was the most intelligent thing he come up with:biglaugh:

1. Great postgame interview with Brent Barry.

Fred Hickman: [something about how important it was to win game 3]

Barry: Yeah, we understand the importance, we've played two game 3's so far these playoffs, against Phoenix and... uh... um....

Hickman: Utah.

Barry: Oh yeah, right, Utah.

2. Epic clash in the third quarter. Manu Ginobili drove down the lane on Anderson Varejao. With the tiniest shoulder contact, Varejao went flying sideways, drawing the offensive foul. However, during the play Ginobili stepped on Varejao's leg, sending him to the bench in pain. How fitting.

How does it feel knowing NOBODY, and I mean NOBODY outside of S.A. cares about your team whatsoever? Sean Elliott is whining, almost wishing the Spurs were hated, because at least that means somebody actually cared about them. The entire country is completely apathetic to your team.

Also congratulations, I didnt possibly think you could set a lower ratings mark than you did the last two finals, especially with LeBron but somehow you did. Congratulations on killing the NBA.

I feel so vindicated when I watch the next morning's review of the games. I haven't watched one of the games yet and won't watch any. If the NBA, aka Stern's Playhouse, thinks this is entertainment in sports, they are out of their minds. So, the latest fiasco ended up 75 -72 and all ESPN wants to talk about is how Lebron got jobbed on the final shot.

It was 75 -72. . That is all that needs to be said. That is a combination of watching paint dry and wheat growing. This series is a showcase for the largest collection of imitation basketball players ever assembled on the same floor at the same time.

BTW, I have finally figured out who Varajeo looks (and plays) like.

I wonder if the Spur troll will tell us what a wonderful win this was. How could the Cavs get that close to beating them after laying more bricks than a brick mason?

I guess the troll doesn't pay attention to when calls don't go the Spurs way. That team cries so much the Hoover damn couldn't contain all the tears. In fact I think the song Cry Me A River was secretly written for Tim Duncan.

Am I the only one in America besides Skip Bayless who thinks there's no way LeBron was in the act of shooting when he got grabbed? If they'd called continuation there I would have written off watching the rest of the series in protest.

he was clearly fouled but he was halfway through a dribble when he got fouled how is that in the act of shooting? I know the NBA is liberal with continuation but a 27 foot fadeaway after a dribble no way he was in the act of shooting IMHO.

THey missed the foul but it should have been 2 shots
