Gallen has given up 2 unearned runs through 3 innings, thanks to Ahmed's 7th error in 50 games (his defense is suddenly among the worst in baseball) and an error by Van Meter playing out of position at 3B.

It's about time Torey moved Calhoun, his most dependable RBI guy, from leadoff to the cleanup position.
He recently batted Varsho leadoff, then back to the bottom of the order. A power hitting rookie,
who doesn't fit either spot.
I can't figure out if Torey is that ignorant of how to drive in runs. Or just obsessive-compulsive
with his cockeyed inconsistency on the potential skills of each player.
The only time the D-backs have shown consistency is in their losing streaks. That's not good!
I'll go from "he is in over his head" to "he has a screw loose". Unaware of logic and the idea
that inconsistent management begets inconsistent players.
His record is 6 & 21 in his last 27 games. That leaves no doubt that there is a problem.

Wasn't always pretty, but tonight was definitely a much needed step back in the right direction for Gallen.
How is Ahmed being set up to fail? He’s playing his positions. Good lord you are ignorant.
I was referring to Gallen being set up to fail, not Ahmed, who has failed miserably in his own right.

order was the key. Let's see how long he is left in the heart of the order.
The old saying, "Always keep them guessing." shouldn't apply to your players.
