With Ronin not doing his early A.M. game thread for tonight's game, I thought, what the heck, I'll get it going. Being that I watched the Mercury beat the Las Vegas Aces last night instead of most of the D-backs game. :)

With our active roster, it is a good lineup. I hope that Greinke can get a scoreless 1st inning to go with his usual 2-6. Then we'll see about the 7th. We really should win tonight's game.

Uh oh, Greinke gives up a single and double in the 1st and the Mets jump out to a 1-0 lead with one out. Then a walk.

He is not our only pitcher doing that. Other than facing the 1-2-3 hitters in the lineup, I wonder what the coaching
staff is finding as the cause.

24 pitches for Greinke and two runners left on base.

The spark plug, Dyson with a single, but Marte hits into a double play.

Escobar with a long fly ball to end the inning.

Adam Jones is the only one that saw more than 3 pitches

Greinke gives up a 2-run HR with no one out on his 62nd pitch in the 4th.

And Greinke is calling for the trainer. He had a mild abdominal strain a
few games ago.

But it wasn't the trainer he was calling for. Steve is wondering what is going on.

Maybe he was having a bad dream after the 2-run homer. :)

After a bunt single and HR, Greinke has given up three more singles.

Another run in and it's 4-0 with no one out. He is up to 74 pitches.

And a call to the bullpen. Godley has started throwing. As you said,
Jon, another L looming.

And Greinke is calling Avila out to the mound again. The guys in the
booth are saying something doesn't look right. It might have to do
with changing the signs.

Following Dyson's leadoff single, the D-backs have nothing since for the
first three innings. The minimum 9.

Peralta is close to coming back. He might return for the Dodger series Monday.

With the minimum number of batters for the first 5 innings (a leadoff single
and a double play), we could sure use the Freight Train.
