Escobar with a wild whiff. Adam Jones, with a double and
game tying HR, comes up and whiffs. And Walker, who is
hitless, whiffs. Cron was waiting on deck to pinch hit.

And now, the weak part of our bullpen, starting with
Yoshi and his 5.75 ERA. Yoshi issues a 2-out walk
and gets out of the inning.

Cron, pinch hitting for the pitcher, with a double. All four of his Major League hits have been doubles.

Ahmed sacrifices him to 3B. Avila gets the intentional walk. Runners on 1B & 3B.

Locastro comes up. And a Met outfielder moves in to play a 5-man infield.

Avila steals 2B uncontested with one out. 2nd and 3rd.

Tim Locastro with a walk off-hit over the outfielder's head. D-backs win 6-5.

That bears repeating. Tim Locastro with a walk-off hit over the outfielder's head.

'Good to see Cron deliver as a pinch hitter. His previous three hits (doubles) came in his only two starts.

Being that his role will evidently be limited, it is good to see that he is adjusting.

Walker went hitless tonight with Cron back and sitting on the bench. It will be interesting to see how Christian reacts.

Torey said that Greinke had a neck spasm when he called the trainer out to the mound.

Evidently not serious, but a problem tonight.

If Lovullo sends Walker out there instead of Cron again. I swear he has to be the biggest idiot. Everyone can see the guy is hitting, while Walker is terrible.

Again, not quiet sure what value Avila adds to the team. He was horrible last year and has continued again this year.

Nice to see them come back and actually win a close game.

Carson Kelly is clearly our Catcher of the future. Especially since he is hitting a ton.

I suppose Torey is bringing him along slowly. In this case, and at this time, I agree with him.

But we should see that shift as the season progresses. The D-backs already took the first
step by dropping the third Catcher so Kelly could get more playing time.
