That's the second game in a row, I think, he's done that. It might have been a double switch. Nope it was to insert Dyson in CF, move Marte to 2B and Flores to 1B.

Flores over Walker??? Defensively, Christian Walker is our only natural 1B and, currently, our best hitter, as the game progresses.

It looks like Lovullo is basing his decisions on quantity, rather than quality, of moves. "Look how many moves I'm making!"

Between Machado's feet too close to Murphy on the play AS WELL AS his tossing the bat right near Murphy
as he was pursuing the ball, I would say it was interference. Machado's reputation as a butt-hole didn't help.
