Home opener today. First home opener at Chase and I’m Really excited to get on that field today and have some fun. First time not in the black and orange is def different but I’m embracing the change. Fans show up loud and let’s have a Party!!!!!

The defending World Series champs are 2-6 entering final road series this weekend vs. #Dbacks before their home opener? How startling is their slow start? The #RedSox didn't lose their sixth game until April 27 last year, and entered month of May with only seven losses.

And that, after their first bad game at-bat, the D-backs rebound.

Peralta is setting the proper example with double after double,
rather than trying to send the ball high in the air, which results
in a lot of strikeouts.

Ahmed batting .250 (but with 6 RBI's) and Escobar hitting .103 are the only two
starters with a batting average under .290, except for the pitcher of course.

'Hope to see some early D-backs runs.

Pre-game on Fox Sports starts in a half hour at 3 PM.

The trademark dirt strip from the mound to home plate is gone
with the new, modern artificial turf at Chase Field. Aw, I miss it.

Peralta with a 2-out single. He leads the Majors in hits and doubles.

Jones get on with Catcher's interference. The Freight Train gets
tagged out on a ground ball to end the inning.

OK, waiting for some D-backs scoring.

After two good innings, Godley gives up a run in the 3rd and leaves two runners on base.

The pitcher, the light hitting center fielder and the slumping 3B all get on base.

They're loaded with Peralta up and no one out. The Freight Train hits into a DP to tie the score.

Jones up with 2 outs and a runner at third and walks. But he gets hung up between 1B and 2B on the next pitch and is tagged out. 1-1 game.

Followed up with a double by Ahmed, who goes to third
on a wild pitch. And Avila walks. Godley's blooper drops
in between three Red Sox. Second hit for Godley.

Runners on 1B and 2B and still one out. 3-1 D-backs.
Dyson with a base hit and Avila scores. Runners on
first and third. One out. 4-1 score.

I like Dyson leading off and playing CF. He has gotten
off to a good start.

Five or more in every game except for the last one.
