one out. He pops up. What a weak platoon that will be at 1B.

Steve and Gonzo theorizing that Lamb will also play 3B, moving
Escobar to 2B, Marte to CF and Dyson to RF.

Torey will have a field day with his dysfunctional lineups.

The Suns have only five positions to play people out of position.
The D-backs have eight position players. Ugh!

Hey, maybe the D-backs can borrow Devin Booker from the Suns
and play him at shortstop.

Carson Kelly leads off the top of the 9th with another hit, a single, off the Giants lefty closer.

Locastro, batting for Godley, takes a lot of pitches for a 3-2 walk.

Jones on a bobbled double-play ball makes it to 1B. First & third with one out.

Dyson singles in a run. 6-3. Runners on 1st & 2nd.

Marte, having a bad night, strikes out for the second out.

Peralta strikes out to end the game. 6-3 Giants. Series tied.

The final two games are at 7:00 tomorrow and 1:00 Sunday.

Jones has gone 0-for-10 batting leadoff in the first two games.

That is what I've been asking. Even if he weren't in a slump.

Dyson is our best pure leadoff hitter and he has batted 2nd
behind Jones in the past two games.

Players out of position. It must be something in the air in
Phoenix, huh 1Sun.

Lovullo is trying to prove how smart he is instead of seeing the obvious.
