First off, great win by the Cardinals especially after losing a heartbreaker last Monday. We had a short week and came out and won the game. I woudl say that this is the second week in a row that we have out performed our opponent and this time we won. This is one of the biggest things that sticks out to me. Our team was in the same situation as last week but we came up with the play to win it this time. This type of development is what I am looking for this season.

1-Special teams were great. Good coverage, not much in the return game, but we made big plays that lifted this team. Blocked punt, game tying FG and game winning FG. No big returns given up to sway momentum. A+

2-Offensive line dominated 85% of this game. Nice blitz pickups, great run blocking and limited penalties. We still look young and inexperienced, but are definitely improving.

3-I was very critical of our defense not making any turnovers when we have had the chances. Balls knocked in the air, fumbles on the ground, players dropping picks but we finally got one when it counted most. FALL ON THE BALL BERRY! Good job by Dockett to just fall on it and not make a stupid play ala B Berry.

4-Time management was great at the end of both halfs. When was the last time we have been able to say that?

5-Nice to see Edge run downhill and stay on his feet past first contact. A different player so far this year.

6-Fitz has seemed to be dropping a lot of balls lately. I counted 2 in this game.

7-Leinart needs to keep working on his footwork. This is the reason that he seems to throw so awkwardly when moving in the pocket. If you watch Peyton Manning when he moves in the pocket, he always keeps his feet under him so he can make a strong throw.

Sorry, I can't give them an A. The play where Breaston ran the ball out of the endzone that left us on the 12 was a stupid play. Something I would expect from a Denny Green team... no dicipline.

I'm blown away by the play of our O-Line. I don't know what is more surprising, Brown playing great, our undrafted rookie center holding his own, or cast-off Gandy playing lights out. For all the money Grimm is being paid, he deserves a raise.

Berry trying to scoop up that late fumble, especially after last week had me infuriated. Why is it so hard to just fall on the dang ball rather than try to make some highlight reel?

I've taken note of this myself. It seems to have started in the preseason. Not sure what is going on, and I'm not yet concerned, but it's something to keep an eye on.

He's definately looked, ackward out there these last two games. We know Whiz has been on him about his footwork, so I don't know if he is still having issues and bouncing back and forth between good vs. bad (or old vs. new) or what.

Time management at the end of both halves impressed me most of all. Odd that Seattle left two time outs on the table. Oh, and Rackers is back!

Since it seems to fit in a Game Notes thread, I just read that this is the first time since the team has been in Arizona (20 years) that we rushed for 100+ yards in our first two games of the season.

Wow.

well I didn't watch the game today. But i did see the crazy fumble. last week the cards lost because of a bad bounce could of won that one. This week you guys win on a good bounce. good to see it end well for cards fans. It was good to see rackers make that FG. from watching the 49ers/rams game that was a toss up too. This division race is going to be something else. These 4 teams are so close. kind of like the NL west.

This catch by Fitz where he jumped over the defender to take the ball away was amazing. I hope you are not calling the one a drop where he was hit in back of the head.

Can't hold that one against him. His head snapped so hard when he hit the ground I didn't expect to see him the rest of the day. He barely got off the field. I'm expecting to hear that he suffered a mild concussion.

Fitz may have dropped a ball but he sure made one hell of a catch on the high throw down the left side line out jumping on the defender on the run and hanging on. He seems to be one of those receivers like R.C. Owen who you could lob one into the endzone and he could just out jump defenders.

I do count that one against Fitz because he has to hold onto the ball. This is the type of catch he is paid to make. His game is predicated on him outleaping the opponent, exposing his body, and coming down with the football. Yes, it was a nasty impact when he hit the ground but he had the ball in the air and has to hold onto it when he hits the ground.
