A three way between the Lakers, Rockets and Suns would make sense..

in principle
Nash, Scola to the Lakers
Gasol to the Rockets
Thabeet, Morris, Flynn, New York pick to Phoenix

Why do you have a hard-on for the other Morris twin? He is terrible.

And you know that how? Because he does not get playing time on the Rockets?

The Suns need to get some young talent it is that simple.

If Markieff can produce there is no reason to think that Marcus can't be a servicable career bench player at least.

If I remember correctly, you were pretty negative about the Morris twins before and after the draft. Has Marcus done anything since being drafted to change your opinion?

Personally, I don't know whether Marcus can play or not, but for a Suns fan to assume that a player must be at least serviceable because his brother or twin is, well, that's like drafting Robin Lopez or Taylor Griffin all over again.

For what it's worth, Marcus is putting up good numbers in the D-League. But so did Alando Tucker.

Except that Marcus was the better player between them in college which Robin and Taylor Griffin were not.

Markieff is way exceeding expectations so far. Still not sold on his long term potential but he should be a solid backup PF for many years. If Marcus can be the same well then we have at least some players with a future on this team who might even have a chance to be more than that.

You can't say that about any of our other players. Josh Childress is only on the roster because of his contract, he would get beat out by any minimum free agent.
