Gameday thread Niners at Cardinals 11-13-16

If only Cat had missed and the game had gone to OT, the 49ers could have won the toss and returned the opening KO for a TD and put us all out of our misery. An ugly, ugly win.

P.S. However, I'll never stop watching as long as Larry is playing. What a warrior.

It's quite possible this is the last win for the season. Every team remaining on the schedule is much better than the Niners. Only 2 home games left with the Skins and Saints. Don't see how this offense can keep up with the Saints offense. Maybe they have a chance at Atlanta but it's an away game on the East coast so that is very iffy. I am loyal to this team win, lose, or tie but I don't see much in the way of anything positive from here on out.

Apparently the bye week was wasted and most everything was kept status quo. Outside of Fitz there is so much inconsistency in this WR group that you can't depend on any other WR to produce a good week for more than one week. RCB is a mess and still is. Bucannon is a midget ILB. The Oline should give their paychecks back. BA's play calling is a disaster especially when they get into the opponent's territory.

How do you gain 150 yds. more than your opponent, convert 50% of your 3rd downs, and have TOP advantage and yet have to kick a FG at the end of the game to win. Maybe it's the 4 TOs, the 40% conversion rate in the red zone (2-5) and the 33% conversion on Goal to go (1-3). This is the problem with the offense.

Let's just say I've had better W & L weeks and was ready to accept another nut-crunching loss.

Yay. We won.

Two reoccuring problems which keep biting us on the butt when we least can afford it:

- The OL moves no one out of nowhere.

- Carson Palmer makes his obligatory awful throws. (i keep wondering what Fitz or Floyd feel when - after they sell out their bodies to make incredible catches - they get to watch CP throw into a crowd of defenders). Not that Palmer didn't deliver most of the time at crunch time; he just can't give up the ball, especially when merely not coughing it up can secure a win.

I will always be eternally hopeful about the Card prospects, but realistically, if we can't address these two weaknesses, we aren't going anywhere.

If you thought the niners were gonna lay down that's silly! They always play us tough and have not won for quite awhile they wanted it badly and their D played one of their best games all year! They shut DJ down they came to play and we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times. The play calling is still wildly inconsistent not sure WTF Arians is doing half the time.

You did it right at the end of the game yesterday for no reason other than to feel superior again. You are not the final arbiter of folks' right to express thier feeling in game, nor does anyone need to fit your narrow definition of "true" fans. Your post yesterday served zero purpose but to troll.
