GameDay Thread: Suns @ Jazz 12-31-16

Watching the replay now and the team is a lot more fun to watch when they keep Knight out of the game. The ball moves better and everybody is playing team basketball. Bledsoe and Booker took some time to develop chemistry together but they're finally looking like a formidable backcourt duo.

The Suns need to play Tyler Ulis more. A Knight trade would likely need to happen to get it done. I like what Ulis brings to the table. He makes the game exciting. Plus he plays well with Bledsoe which is what the Suns originally wanted from Knight. Sure there is a height problem but it's all about putting your best players on the court.

I wanted to mention if it is not already obvious, Rudy Gobert will eventually make the Jazz a championship contender. He gets better and better. He is a player you can build a franchise around.

George Hill of the Jazz is reportedly exhibiting concussion type symptoms after being elbowed in the face by Alex Len in the Suns game last night. I missed it. He was already coming coming back from injury.

From ESPN:

There is no timetable for Hill's return. He exhibited concussion-like symptoms and now will go through league-mandated concussion protocol before he's cleared to play.

Hill has appeared in just 13 of 34 possible games because of injuries this season. He missed eight games with a sprained thumb and 13 games with a sprained toe. The veteran guard is averaging a career-best 19.1 points along with 4.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
