For all of the trepidation in the offseason, he's been playing really well.

I'll admit, I was one of those that looked at the signing as a poor decision, but it seems to have paid off. Hopefully he can keep it up. As we know, this week will be a litmus test for the new-look o-line.

Oh, and speaking of the test for the oline, if they can handle the ravens this week I think you start seeing some national pundits start buying into the team's success and we'll shoot up the power polls.

If we can escape the first 4 games with 2-2, I think we have a legit contender on our hands. That's by far the toughest stretch of schedule we have.

Yeah I really hate to say "I told you so" but I was severly flamed when I said that Gandy would be a good signing. :)

ESPN Insider has a good article on positives of the line. What can be more national than ESPN, though personally, they are full of crap.

After 7yrs of failure...why expect anything else?

I am sure I flamed you.

Kudos to Gandy.

I thought a few of the free agents we signed for the oline would be good over the last decade. I did NOT have much hope for Gandy. It'd really be nice to be wrong in a GOOD way!

:stupid:

And I've been predicting we beat the Steelers at home for weeks now. So if we win in Baltimore this weekend.

I've also felt we would beat the Steelers ever since the schedule came out.

It is funny. Both of these games, Baltimore and Steelers, could end up as "they are who we thought they were" games. The Steelers especially with Fathead at QB.

I hope the Cards don't let them off the hook.

Have I told, you, lately, that I love it when you call him "Fathead?"

I do. Very much so.

It seems like the Cardinals are perenially (SP) 1 -3 at the quarter post. 2-2 would be tremendous given the difficulty of the next two games.

He's got a great big fat head. It is like this big.

That's for sure. And Leinart gets all this "Hollywood" grief, even though all evidence seems to show that he's a great guy. Everything I hear about Ben seems to indicate that he's a huge douchebag.

The Cards have started 1-3 eight of the last ten seasons.

In 2002 and 1998 they started 2-2.
