i enjoyed that dallas game a lot. i knew that dallas could win the game, it just took effort for 48 minutes rather than 24. Kidd having only 1 point (i think it was 1) also didn't help you guys much. Solid game for Dirk though, i was impressed.

Yeah Dirk really put the team on his back in that 2nd half. Plus JT got hot aswell.

From what I saw, Jason Kidd didn't have enough of the ball in his hands tonight. A team with Kidd, Terry, Dirk and Howard should be able to play without strict coaching. AJ seems really stubborn with his set plays and iso's, which in turn takes away the effectiveness of Jason Kidd.

I also think that Josh Howard has regressed alot this year. But again, that may be due to AJ trying to get him to do things that he isn't capable of.

Thats how I see it as well. Kidd is an improviser on offense and avery wants to script everything. I just dont see why the mavs traded for kidd if he is going to be used like that. The integration of kidd into the mavs team will likely be painstakingly slow if he is used this way. Its tough enough to integrate a new PG without the shackles.
