In a van...down by the river.

I think if you want to get alot better defensively...you've got to change it up offensively sometimes....sounds like Gentry wants to make sure that Nashball doesn't get disrupted.

I'd really like to know what the Suns expect from Markieff Morris next season....which roster spot do they hope he can steal heavy minutes from....?

Frye and Gortat are gonna get their minutes,i would imagine that if Morris has a strong camp that Lopez would surely be the odd man out....

How does Morris fit into this current team? Do the Suns see him as a building block for the future...or part of the answer to Nashball V0.12?

So Morris is suppose to have pick and roll skills which we all know is Nash's bread and butter.

I think the hope is that when Gortat goes to the bench, there is still someone in the lineup that they can milk the pick and roll with.

The problem that I had seen last season is that when Gortat went to the bench, the Suns had no game in the paint whatsoever and we became a one dimensional jump shooting team for example with Frye. HW would show up on the pick and roll once every 5 games.

I think Warrick might lose his time, Frye some of his. The one thing about Frye though is that when Gortat goes to the bench I wouldn't be surprised to see all of those Lopez's minutes to go to Frye at center.

I'd almost be willing to bet that Lopez is not going to be in the Suns uniform next season. Phoenix paid for Gortat and Siler to go work out with the Dream. It looks like they had a deal to trade Lopez for a pick in the 20's that didn't happen because NY took Shumpert at #17.

I don't see Lopez playing in Phoenix next year.

Yeah, I think we will see a lot of Gortat/Morris and Frye/Morris lineups in addition to Gortat/Frye. Warrick will be the odd-man out and Lopez will most likely be gone. Siler and Lawal will get garbage minutes if on the roster.

I wonder if the Suns tried to offer Lopez to NY as soon as they drafted Shumpert. NY obviously liked Shumpert enough to draft him this high, but they have a bigger need for a center and Lopez's one good year came alongside Stoudemire.

Gentry said it best.. "UHHHHHHHHHHHH" That's the first thing that came out of my mouth after the pick. I would have liked him to add a few "Okkaaaaaaay's" and "Aaaalright's" just to make me feel better about next season.

I don't know if I'm just fantisizing, but I noticed my sleeper candidate, Charles Jenkins was drafted by the Warriors. It might make sense for the Suns to do a deal that included Jenkins for Lopez. Obviously there is a a lot of stuff needed to make that deal work, but IMHO Lopez would be attractive to the Warriors because:

1. The Warriors are very samll.
2. Lopez went to Stanford.
3. The Warriors are not a playoff team and can afford to wait for him to develop.

Unless I'm missing something, Jenkins is too similar to the Warrios line of Ellis and Curry.

We don't know if Lopez is on the block, but you never kno.
