AZ: 38 sacks
Indy: 32 sacks
Didn't know that.

I was thinking more on the lines of having a constant threat from a Dlineman that the other team had to scheme around allowing more pressure. I think most of our sacks were from scheming and cover sacks. I may be wrong though.

It probably won't be as much as in Indy. Arians said we had more talent.

We're not int quite the same situation. But I agree there will be some pretty major turnover of the roster. Tends to happen with almost every new coach hire anywhere.

Don't disagree. Would also like to add to the threat, but - it's disruption rather than sacks, which is the key.

OK

Why didn't he sign a single drafted Cardinal for his first 5 years? He was only here 6 years - Our SB talent left - I don't get your reasoning? Dansby, Rolle, Q, Edge, Hood - R wells- Deuce- just on and on and on? We kept DD and Michal Adams!

I have to rethink the Strawberries and cream comment- I may be giving the Niners and then fans way to much credit- We'll see who climbs the Crabtree! Or how Harbaugh shakes his brothers hand and then jacks him up! Mr Singletary might have got speed boogered when he dropped his pants!

they have some good fans - I shouldn't bulk them all into that category- Not all Cardinals are as Classless as DD.

I hope so, but the one thing The Whiz was able to install in his tenure (more so than any other coach I've seen with the Cardinals since Don Coryell) was a sense of pride in the origination, and a willingness to stick around to build something special. That only happens when the players buy what the coaches are selling. That's a tough hill to climb from a management standpoint for BA.

What sways my opinion in this direction is when BA was at his intro presser discussing QB's he said they're be "I'm sure that Steve (Keim), and Jason (Licht), will be looking behind door number two. And if door number two is a better option, we'll go to door number two."

IMHO that will be the governing tenet with the entire roster with the Arians/Keim retooling.

Will the OL automatically improve without Russ Grimm?

Lets assume Snyder and Batiste aren't back because they're garbage. Let's also assume Levi is back because he's cheaper to cut after next season and we're thin at Tackle with Potter being 2nd year player. Kiper's mock has us taking Warmack at #7...

Starters -

Potter-----Warmack-----Sendlein-----Colledge-----Massie

Backup tackle - Levi
Backup guard - Kelemete

Adding talent (Warmack)
Losing scrubs (Snyder/Batiste)
New OL coach (see ya Grimm)

= Significant improvement??

Actually I think your wrong, i'm sure Floyd and Fitz will be here-Beanie will be our starting RB with Sherman at FB- Levi will be our LT anchoring our Oline- I think our core talent will remain- BA will simplify the picture- the QB will conduct the offense rather than each unit and player conducting his own read and react.

We have no depth- I hope Bridges starts at guarad or RT - I think he is one of our best OLman since Deuce and Reggie Wells were stomped on. Bridges has a couple years left to develop current or new talent behind him on the oline.

I worry that BA may call 600+ passes to less than 400 runs or even 440 like the colts last year- but He is not Whisenstupid unless he xfinds a QB like Luck that is a machine gun- Kolb is a West Coast QB - quit trying to turn him into Kurt Warner for heavens sake- Leave that boy in place and let him sing his song-

Bruse the Moose has enough experience to adapt to his players talents- Which were drafted in the same mold as his philosphy- but not coached or schemed in the same way he coaches nor schemes. I see the versatility in his time at Pittsburg and yet he changed up for Luck! I think John Skelton may blossom under his direction- He has the skills - experience- needs a positive work enviroment and a run game.
BA prefers TEs over FBs and there is a legit chance that we won't even have a FB on the roster next season. Unless that FB is a STs stud.

Doubt very much that Potter beats out Levi and the fact that Snyder can sub at 4 positions on game day plays in his favour. Combining Levi and Warmak could be key to an effective running game.

I might see it the opposite way. With the past regime both were thinking they had one step out the door. With a new regime they may have a rejuvenated attitude?

agree with this.

Dockett especially will find new life in "hybrid"4-3/3-4

Niners like thugs and DD has praised their fans for years- Wishes Cards fans were more like Niners fans- thugs! I'm waiting for him to fake an injury while showering with alabama's QB's Girlfriend on the internet during a superbowl.

Look at me look at me- I'm thuggin train streaming down the web toward candlestick Park with a girl that doesn't even like me- ouch ouch- I pulled out an 8 1/2 burger and my head collapsed! I need a new early contract - to pay for her needs and my operation-

know an Octorectomy - to cut that nerve from your butthole to your eyeballs - so you aint got such a crappy outlook on Cardinal fans!

Is that the cure for Rectaloctolitis?

I would not be surprised if Snyder beats out Sendlien with the way the line seemed to improve when Sendlien was injured. I think there is a realistic chance that Sendlien is the odd man out on the OL.

What did you just say? I mean this in the nicest way possible, do you have a medical issue or are you just plainly an idiot? I really want to know.

Agree. Was going to mention that, again, the running game could improve with bigger Snyder at centre.

What we don't know is who will stay, who will go and who will arrive; and, among those who remain here, how much will each lineman improve?

Bottom line - what will be the difference between the OL we ended the season with and the one we go to war with in September?

I don't think any of us know (in fact, I don't think the new regime can know this yet).

I doubt very much that Levi beats out Potter. Potter showed more pass pro talent in his rookie season than Levi has his whole career, and another year of weight training should make him improve in the running game.

To each his own. I saw very little push from Potter, but, a solid start to his career.

We should keep in mind, that everyone starts with a relatively clean slate with the new regime. Someone in the doghouse with Whiz or Grimm or Horton is not by extension there with Arians and Co.

Fans will also have to put aside their own preconceived notions and wait on the new evaluations, etc. (IMO)

I am thinking this also. Snyder was not very good at guard, but seemed to do better at center. I am not a Sendlien fan by any means. I think he is one of the weak links.
