Isn't there a good ot from Washington huskies but he has injury problems? If so he might be worth a risk

PTW is a nice ball of clay for Kugler.

OT is a bigger need, and obv way more positionally important, than IOL.

For what its worth, I have seen 3 mocks today....2 had us getting Ezra Cleveland and 1 had us getting Niang in the 3rd round.

I would be happy with that, but I think I'm leaning D-lineman depending on whos still there

Or one of the best available WRs.

Or Claypool as a TE.

I doubt J Elliot will still be available, but he'd help make us physically tougher.

Id be super happy with any of those guys at 72.

I would add Reakwon Davis to the D-Line list. He is going to be a beast of a NT that can still play 3 downs.

This guy would be a temptation for me to draft. Big, and very athletic. New to football but a fast learner.

I don't think we will trade up as we don't have the picks in this years draft. We already only have 6 picks next year having given the Texans our 4th rounder so i don't see Keim doing that. I would not be surprised if we don't trade down to get more picks this year.

what

Higgins is huge. Pinkston weighed 170lbs

I can read the measurements on NFL.com. Higgins played little despite his size. Watch him vs LSU which is practically the only NFL level CBs and scheme he saw all last year. He gives up his chest, has poor hands and gets pushed around. I was shocked. I re-watched. Confirmed that he is not the physical player which his frame would make you think he is. Higgins PLAYS like Todd Pinkston.

Good list.

Gallimore is the only one I would be iffy about since he isnt really too well suited as a 3-4 end, more of a 3 tech type.

That’s ironic considering he got a TD taken away from him on a terrible OPI call

I thought Higgins played pretty good vs LSU despite him getting banged up and Lawrence having an off-night.

Just ran a mock. Pittman Jr, jonathon Taylor, lucas Niang, Cam Akers, Julian Okwara and Prince Tega Wanagho

All there with Josh Jones, DeAndre Swift, Hunt, Curtis Weaver all going right before us.

someone we don’t expect is going to be there

If we are going off of need, I would go DL.

Trade up for Epenesa?!? I think he can at least be a steady 3-4 End.

he reminds me so much of Marcus Golden but better. Super high motor I think he’s a 6-10 sacks a year type guy the perfect compliment for Jones

I also am a fan of trading 2021 1st rounder for picks in this years draft. Now here me out. With the current situation going on and possible no Fall Football you have to consider this. No Football, No way to evaluate current 2021 players development but you have current evaluations on players to take in the 2nd round. There are a couple of teams that have 2 second rounders that i would call just to inquire about trading with. See if their game. I would ask for 2 seconds + other picks either this year or next.
It doesn't work that way. Even in normal times, next year's first is generally worth ONE second round pick this year. (Obviously over the last decade, a Browns pick was worth more and a Patriots pick less, but this has been the general rule.) On top of that, other teams are aware of the uncertainty about next year as well, so i'd expect next year's picks to be worth even less.

No way the Cards would get multiple 2nds and more for next year's 1st!

Yep I could see them packaging their 2nd 4th rounder and their 3rd to move up into the late 2nd round in order to snag Hunt if he is still there.
#72 + #131 barely gets you to the last pick in the 2nd round (which belongs to Seattle), if you go by the chart. #72 + #114 gets you to the 6th from last pick in the 2nd (which also happens to belong to Seattle).

Epenesa is way bigger and longer than MG. He’s way more technical. They both play hard. So do a lot of guys lol

I’m not saying there bodies are identical. Ones black to so yeah totally different.

there both technical hi motor players with limited athletic ability and are going to bring it every game. Neither is a star both are clean up type guys you team with a star

With the uncertainty of the upcoming college football season according to some reports & School presidents, if I’m the Cards I somehow trade back into round 2.

With that pick I take edge rusher Zack Baun or Curtis Weaver. I would prefer Weaver based on consistent production. Our defense could possibly do a complete 180 in 1 season.

Epenesa is much more athletic.
