Some of the stuff i have read today
1.fire Mac
2.cut Grammatica
3.Fire Kuhlmann
4.Bryant is a Wadsworth like bust.
5.whole Defense sucks
6.OLine sucks
7.Sign 2 or 3 guys now.







Damn guys its the first game.Who screwed up today.Mostly Veterans;Blake with a Costly interception and fumble.
Clement 4 freaking false starts.
Poor clock management by a veteran and coach.Detroit allowed 20 sacks last year and have a solid oline.
Keep the faith gang.Don`t give up.

But thats why people are so pissed off about the mistakes.. because they ARE veterans!

I agree that we should keep the faith though. This game is an eye opener though.

Several teams had ugly, ugly losses today. Worse than ours.

Bears

Bengals

Patriots

Dolphins

Packers losing at home.

So, yeah, it's too early to throw in the towel. But, it sure was frustrating that we lost by shooting ourselves in the foot. I said we need to be 2-1 after the first 3 games, in any combination to compete this year. That can still happen. If we split these two games at home it could be a very long year.

8. Not signing Wilksinson was a twofold failure.
1) He could have helped the Cardinals
2) He helped the Lions beat the Cardinals

I have faith that #8 has more vaildity than 1-7, as well as any line by Graves that suggested otherwise.

Really... how many sacks did Wikenson get?

I believe it's 0...

He's a run stuffer... and to the best of my knowlege, the LIONS didn't gain 100 yards today... so what possible difference would he have made?

Well, the great disparity was that once "Big" went down and the out-of-shape Dishman was inserted into the game, that was the major difference in the battle of the lines.....
