Although it feels wrong making fun of someone else's QB right now.

Change it. Seattle and Carolina is the future with the rules we have to play with. The pocket passer will soon be the thing of the past.

So you're saying get rid of Arians then because it's his offense.

:biglaugh: This is the most ridiculous post I've ever read on ASFN, including some of Thesmels rants on running the rock

Seriously! I luv how supposed Cards fans bash their QB after a big loss

I think RG III is also a headcase but he is a younger headcase. Palmer is 36 and there is no changing him. He's done mentally in terms of the NFL playoffs. He will never accomplish anything. At least with RG III we have seen he does have talent and can tear it up. Maybe BA can do something with that. He can't do anything with Palmer.

If Shanahan couldn't get him toplay well in the pocket there is no way Arians will either.

RG3 is horrible.

You can't run an NFL offense with him, he takes hits and gets hurt, exactly what happened to him in Washington.

You have to remember that a lot of fans are fairly new to football. They see a name that they recognize and only remember one or two games and not the entire body of work.

If we got RGIII, he'd be hurt in a game or two and we'd be back to Palmer.

Next ridiculous thread, please.

Still waiting for the "Fire Bruce Arians" thread to pop up.

Once that surfaces, this MB will have officially reached rock bottom.

Pocket passers aren't going anywhere in the NFL the trouble is colleges aren't training many at all so the crops are smaller.

We need to get our franchise Brady for once in a millennium we're due.

You are probably 100% right here. I just find more hope in maybe somebody getting through to somebody's castoff because IMO we know what we have in Palmer.

That's the point. You can't just live on retreads. They have to go out and be proactive about this, or wait to tank one year. I know how excited everyone will be about that!

Well it gets worse because there are few if any pocket passers coming out of college anymore.

The more I think of this the more I think we're going to have to get creative about finding one.

BA isn't going to change and Palmer will get too old so we have to find one.

What's worse, losing the NFC Championship, or having to read about all the complete failures the knee-jerk reactors think we should bring in to replace our QB. Larry dropped one or two balls he normally catches. Are we putting him out to pasture, too? How about Peterson, he needs to be replaced, right? Veelheer hasn't been real good the last couple of games, should he go, too? Deone? Honey Badger? Geez, the guy didn't even dress, he must not be a team player. How about Iupati. He only blocked two guys on that TD by Johnson, he should have blocked 3. Let's get rid of him.

RGIII? Do you even watch the Arians offense? So, if we are bringing in RGIII, I guess we are also hiring a new coach?

Could have gotten Teddy Bridgewater but passed on him.

Sure did. And got Bucannon AND John Brown once we traded down. Damn good move if you ask me. Bridgewater doesn't fit the Arians offense, so Bridgewater would have cost us Bucannon, Smoke and Arians. You don't pick a QB who doesn't fit your new coaches philosophy. Period.

His offense doesn't have to change. You can't just go out and buy 5 all pro linemen. Hell it hurt Kurt with the D knowing they only had to rush to one spot the whole game. QB rules and money = mobile QB "that can pass the ball." We need one that can go deep. Our line nor any but maybe 3 out of 32 teams can just hold for a QB like CP. We ran some trick plays why not a few QB runs in the offense. BA can think outside the box. Run his O if it's not there move and make something happen. Make the D line play gaps not just rush to a spot or spend 70 million on a O lone. The new mobile passing QB makes the whole team better. If CP could move maybe he would not choke under the rush. Cam was the number one QB agents the blitz.

Good god, did we all get concussed?

I might have to block myself from seeing this forum for a few days... or weeks.
