Get rid of Shawn Green today!

Shawn Green lost today's game. He brings nothing to the team. He makes too many outs and too many mistakes in the field. He should of caught that ball in the 10th. I would rather see Carlos and even Hairston out there than Green. If they can't trade him for a bag of peanuts, I say just release him.

He's one of the best hitters on the team. That fly ball was far from a routine catch. That would've been tough for any outfielder to catch and after looking at it against Thom Brennaman did say that. He did all he could to get the ball and it just went over him. None of our other outfielders except Byrnes could have caught that. I do want to trade Green to let Quentin play but you are being way too tough on him. It was the entire line-up that lost the game for us. We should have gotten more than 1 run in 9 innings against their bullpen.

He should have made that catch, but Medders was going to be hit hard regardless. To say that Green lost this game when the offense generated a whole 1 run is a bit off.

I would like to trade him to get Quentin the at bats.

Everything you said here makes sense, however there's such an outcry to get rid of the guy so Q can become an everyday player that every mistake he makes is going to be hugely criticized and beat upon.
