They were flashing this on the screen at the stadium last night on defensive third downs.
I think it's geart.
However, they used to kick you out for "getting up", now they encourage it. :)

Also, on the smaller screen they had scores of games already played and games in progress.
Once again great.
However, they never updated the games in progress.
The 5pm games were still in the 3rd quarter when our 7pm game was almost over.

Baby steps, I guess.

I want more detailed replays on the bigscreen when I am at the game especially on contraversial calls.....anything the refs need to check under the hood. Does anyone know if there is any reason they don't seem to replay these calls. It seems like other stadiums get them based on fan reactions to close calls.... Any idea? Something that has bothered me for a couple years.

Also on the Get Up Get Loud issue, no problem if they flash it quickly but also get the video back up quickly too so if the play is on the other side of the field we can see as much as possible.....

They say get up and get loud yet pass out the stupid Fan Code of Conduct which says that standing is prohibited. Lol okay.

I did notice that they finally had someone at the entrance yelling for men and women lines. That was one of the quicker entrances I've made into that place in a while (regardless of it being pre-season)

Congrat to the fans who turned out for the game. You matched up well with the Green Bay fans, as, on tv at least, it didn't look like many empty seats. Cardinal fans have come a long way since SDS.

I see no conflict. You just missed the fine print on the screen:

GET UP, GET LOUD!!!
(Except if you are in front of a visiting fan who would prefer to sit)

For a preseason game it was loud.

I love how the rooks react at the 1st game. They hear us during preseason and they think that's the volume....then the 1st 3rd down comes and the place is ROCKIN!!! You can see their faces look around thinking, "dang this place is LOUD!!!"

The GB game in reg. season was the same...because it didn't matter the place was quiet. The next week it was LOUD and you could see they didn't practice a ton of silent calls.

Get up and get loud... Yet they handed out a code of conduct card that said standing and blocking the view of the person behind you will not be accepted.

:?

I was impressed with the crowd noise for a preseason game. Good stuff Cards fans!

I stand up and yell at my tv all the time. Does that count?
Not until you throw something at it. :D

Children and puppies dont count tho...:mulli:

I guess I'm fortunate because the people in my section are always standing and sitting at the appropriate times and so nobody has ever complained about us standing up and yelling our heads off. One guy did nicely ask me to quit using my program as a megaphone because it was hurting his ears but I had been doing it for a while so I pretty much understood where he was coming from, he was directly in front of me...

Guess it just depends on the people around you.
