The New York Giants will have the NFL's most interesting and polarizing quarterback room after agreeing to a deal with former Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson. With the move, the Giants now have two veteran quarterbacks and a definite starter.
Tom Pelissero reports that Wilson and the Giants have agreed to a one-year, $10.5 million deal, per sources. With incentives, Wilson can earn up to $21 million. With the move now complete, the Giants have Wilson on a one-year deal, Jameis Winston on a 2-year, $8 million contract, and Tommy DeVito returns after signing his exclusive rights deal.
The Giants have the No. 3 pick in the NFL draft and still could look to add Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward.
Wilson had a passer rating of 95.6 with 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 11 games in 2024. He was selected to play in his ninth Pro Bowl. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only NFL team without a starting quarterback.
