'84 Marshall JCM 800 Lead series combo amp

I have done some recent research on the value of these instruments and i welcome you to do the same.:)
The Gibson has had very little wear & tear and has been in my possession for about 4 yrs. The Marshall has been in my possession for about 10 yrs and is definately used looking cosmetically....but has been serviced and sounds fantastic.
$1,400.00 cash for everything but i am willing to listen to offers.
Again i'll add photos in the next couple days.

Cool Setup. Are you giving up guitar, or just selling for cash?
Long story, but its worth mentioning. I began as a self taught drummer at 15 yrs old and it came natural to me. I've always been a drummer to the core and although I enjoy the creative aspect of the guitar I no longer need this gear. It's too good a set up to just keep around and rarely use.
My days of playing guitar in bands are long behind me. I own a rather special acoustic guitar that i'll never part with. I want to buy another drum set eventually(haven't had one in many years). I was always half the guitarist that I was a drummer:D.
Anyway, yes I could use the cash and in a way i'm giving up on the guitar.
Its strange how i once didn't play the drums for 2 years and when i finally did all it took was about an hour of banging and hashing it out to get "back on it." I was never that fluid at the guitar(more like a sloppy David Gilmore) and if i didn't pick it up every other day or went a week without playing i couldn't retain it like i could the drums.
I've had rhythms in my head since i can remember and it's in me. Becoming a decent guitar player and maintaining it was HARD work:p.

That is a great setup.

In a former life I used to play the guitar, but I could never get the right and left hands to work together well enough to be anything above a scratch amateur.

But yeah, I have played your same amp and it is one of the best-sounding combos ever made. And there is just something about the Les Paul neck and fretboard that make it fun and easy to play.

Good luck with the sale. 10 years ago I would have been all over it, but it does sound a bit pricey for today's economy.

I'm a huge Hendrix fan and back in the day i actually played Fender strats exclusively and with the Fender/Marshall/UniVibe combo.....ahhh the sound.
As for the price i'm definately willing to negotiate a reasonable offer:).
I would like to see this equipment put to good use again.

A genuine Gibson Les Paul studio (not the epiphone POS) goes for around $1100 new and a Marshall combo tube amp can run you close to $2000 new.

I'd say it's a pretty good deal

Yeah, it's a good deal. I'm not really in the market, because i'm making guitars and pickups right now for a hobby/business. It's a lot to get rolling, but it's starting to gain some momentum.

If i come across anyone up here, I'll see if they are interested.

Yep! It's a work in progress, but it's getting there. Trying to get the guitar developed and the rest of the tools and supplies are challenges i'm working on now.

If you want to check out what i'm doing:

Guitars: www.porterguitars.com
Pickups: www.porterpickups.com

Mojo: any luck selling the thing yet? Craigslist sucks, but you might be able to find a buyer.
