FLAGSTAFF – The ball simply never hits the ground. It’s the start of another practice for the Cardinals and the wide receivers are running the four-cone drill of offensive coordinator Todd Haley. As each receiver breaks 90 degrees off each cone, Haley rifles a pass at the guy at close range.
When Larry Fitzgerald takes his turn, he has no problem hauling in each pass.

Neither does Anquan Boldin.

When the Cards run 7-on-7 drills, the two are close to perfect. Same with 11-on-11. It’s expected, of course. Fitzgerald and Boldin already have Pro Bowls on their resume and huge statistical years in their pockets. They are the Cards’ biggest offensive weapons.

Click Link to Read the Rest. Can't wait. Boldin and Fitz seem to be more exciting as ever.

Good stuff! Wonder if Whis is waiting for a good blocking tight end to get released to fill that need.

Why not? It's worth debating. Fitz is looking ridiculous in camp and could challenge Q's thrown.

It has always been debatable, but Q has always won. I prefer Fitz personally, but these two are so close, its hard to pick.

Statistically, the flanker gets the most action in Whis's offense so I am looking for Quan to get better numbers this year.

They have Real Ultimate Power!!!!

Q & Fitz both have real ultimate power.

These guys are cool; and by cool, I mean totally sweet.

Facts:

1. Q & Fitz are mammals.
2. Q & Fitz kill defensive backs ALL the time.
3. The purpose of Q & Fitz is to flip out and catch passes.

Q & Fitz can beat anyone they want! Q & Fitz kill defensive backs ALL the time and don't even think twice about it.
These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that they were eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon they killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw Q & Fitz totally uppercut some DB just because he opened a window.

And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't believe that Q & Fitz have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will chop your head off!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me.

:) That site still cracks me up!!

Anquan Boldin. He is more versatile and brings more to the table than Fitz.

Im VERY HAPPy to have Fitz but Anquan Boldin he is not.

Boldin also drops many more passes than Fitz. You can throw the ball anywhere in Fitz' area in double coverage, and he will snag that ball.

There is nothing better for a receiver to know that when the ball goes in his direction, he isn't going to drop it.

If Im not mistaken Fitz dropped a few balls himself last year. So yes he does drop them. And to use the term "many" more is quite a stretch. Lets not forget that Fitz doesnt work the middle like Boldin either. Boldin is easily the more versatile of the two.

Being more versatile doesn't necessarily equate to being a better receiver. Boldin might be the most versatile receiver in the league, but isn't the best.

Is Harrison versatile, what about Holt?

In fact stats.com gives them both exactly 5 dropped passes last year. Just to diperse that rumor.

Your right he isnt the best WR in the NFL. But he is the best on THIS team. He also just brings more to the table and is harder to defend because of his versatility.

WR? Arguable...maybe fitz.

Player? Hands down, Anquan. Not even a contest anywhere else. And we'll see him finally (FINALLY) unleashed. Remember how I've always bitched that Q should be running the end-arounds and not Fitz? To have him throw the ball, or at least threaten it? Well, now we will get it.

Anquan is arguably better than Fitz, but in the end Fitz will probably be the more talented WR. Q is the better player, and is untackleable.

To get back on topic:

I loved this line from Fitz: It also underscores what Fitzgerald said was Whisenhunt's greatest coaching attribute: The ability to look at a player, know what he does well, and put him in the right spot.

Something Denny knew nothing about.

i agree. fitz really has no business getting the nod for end-arounds when we have Q. Q is just the type of player, no matter how you do it, just get him the damn ball and he can do something. fitz more or less, is just a throw it to him kind of guy. but all you have to do is throw and he can get it regardless of the pass and accuracy ;) god i love our receivers.
