IMHO, Samoas are possibly the perfect cookie.

I agree. Have you tried the Samoas ice cream from Edy's (or it might be Dreyer's out there)? AMAZING little creation.

I got jobbed too. The order sheet said $3 when I ordered them. When my coworked came to collect the money, she said $4 a box. I love me some Samoas, but for $4 a box, DAMN!

$4/box is f'n outrageous but it helps those girls do whatever so I support the local kids.

I bought 2 boxes of do si dos and they are horrible. Thankfully I bought the thin mints and some samoas.

It doesn't really bother me, especially since it's not really safe to go door-to-door anymore. I saw them at Fry's today. I got me some Samoas. Wanted some Thin Mints, but only had $5 on me.

Cool thing was they were asking people to buy boxes for soldiers in Iraq and the girls are gonna ship them over.

I won't buy unless I'm asked. I can't stand the kids that just stand there and don't say anything. We used to have sports teams stand outside of convenience stores with jars when I lived in Jersey. They'd just stand there like you were obligated to help them. I never donated unless they said something.
