All things considered...would you cut Larry Fitzgerald, if it meant freeing up the money to sign Marshawn Lynch?

Good question. I think Larry has another good 3-4 years in him. Can Lynch continue to take the pounding? How motivated will he be when he signs a lucrative contract? He turns 29 in April. In terms of leadership and class, Fitz has it all over Lynch. Therefore, imo, it would not make sense to give up Fitz for Lynch. Plus, there are some high caliber RBs in the upcoming draft.

I don't think one has to happen for the other to occur. Lynch is not going to get a huge payday. At least it would be very surprising if he did seeing as he's approaching 30 and has a lot of wear and tear on him.

Hmm....

Good question, but I have no answer.

Not really sure. Without having money part of the equation ? No way.

But, there are a lot of "in's and out's" with that question.

I said 'What' because I would most likely cut Fitz, but not to sign Lynch. I think it is a lateral move at best. I'm getting younger if I cut Fitz, not just as old...

No but I would if it would guarantee us signing Iupati or Carpenter at OG, Virgil Green along with Cro again.

If there is a way to keep Fitz-----I opt for that. Even when he quits playing, he could become an ambassador for the Cardinals on the media front. He is known and appreciated world wide, and would be a perfect fit for this position in the Front Office. He could mean much toward garnering lucrative post season games, and or long term merchandising of the stadium.
