Gmail outage?

I'm assuming it's not just me that can't access gmail for several hours now?

I've tried looking online but I don't see anywhere where Google has announced this. Ironically the gmail help is down too, and I don't see anywhere to click on to send a note to Google about this.

actually it just started working for me 5 minutes after I posted that. it was down for at least 2 hours.
