If Moss was a 4th rounder, than Hall should be a 6th or 7th. The Falcons would never go for that though. I'm not saying this because of how well Moss did last year, but comparing their overall careers.

He is only 24 and can make a impact. I think Atlanta wants a 2nd or 3rd rounder and think a 4th can do it. The question it, will someone drafted in the 4th round make more of a impact than Hall. The fact that he is only 24 is the big thing for me.

I used to think that he was worth a 4th. I don't anymore. Shane is right on this issue.

Take your victories where you can Shane. :)

The question is when is his deal gong to expire?

2 years left with base of 2.5 million in 2008 and 2.9 million in 2009. It was a 6 year deal with 12 million up front. I guess the cap hit is 4.5 and 4.9 millions each year, am I wrong on that?

I think that is wrong, ATL would eat that 4 mil signing bonus and we would only absorb his remaning 2 year base salaries.

That 6th year is a player option voidable year. He has already stated he will opt out and wants to become the highest paid CB in the league, which would be dumb considering he has given up more TD's then any other CB since he has been in the league. He hasnt stopped a single WR yet, he talks a lot about stopping WR's and I guess has fooled a lot of poeple with his own hype talk, becuase it isnt based on on field performance that is for sure.

LOL.... my trade idea got blasted a few weeks back, but I said how about a #1, a #3, and Hall for Fitzgerald. Man people came out of the woodwork to tell me he's fast but gives up more yards, catches, and TDs than (insert name here). And all I could do was smile and shake my head. Dreamcastrocks so eloquently stated what I was feeling.... He might be overrated but he's better than anything we can put on the field. As a side note I also suggested trading a 3rd or 4th for Pacman Jones, but in hind sight we could probably get him cheaper than that (a 5th or 6th maybe??).
