What the hell, I vote once from work this morning when Q and Fitz are 2nd, and vote again when I get home and they're third.

I am done with this poll, it's gotten ridiculous.

Edit: You know, I could see Moss/Welker getting more votes, but WTH is up with Evans/Owens running away with this thing?

It's not really a fair poll. A lot of that has to do with the QB throwing them the ball, and we have the best QB in the league as well. ;)

My vote would be for Andre Johnson and whoever lines up opposite of him. That guy is amazing and rivals Fitz when he's actually healthy (he's kind of like Q in that regard). I can't wait to see DRC match up against Andre Johnson this year.

T.O. and evans may just be the best. i love our tandem, but as we've all discussed ad nauseum, they are somewhat redundant. T.O. and evans compliment each other better. you better believe that T.O. will continue to have coverage rolled to his side of the field which leaves a corner on an island against evans' blazing speed. if they have someone back there that can get them the ball (and an oline that gives that someone time - bye bye peters) they will tear secondaries apart. and in likely bigger chunks than our stud pairing.

Fitz has the best hands in the game, the best hands since Chris Carter and that is the WR's main job- CATCH THE BALL. But due to his legacy, I can see someone voting Moss over our 25 year old Fitz (only 25, SWEET). But to say Welker is better than Boldin is pure lunacy, if Welker was on this team he would be battling for Breaston's #3 spot.

A QB plays a huge part of course in making Wrs effective along with the line so I'm with you NBT, but Ouchie is right in that you cannot deny the talent that Evans and TO have and that potential is there but as a Cardinal fan the word 'potential' makes my stomach hurt LOL. Another reason I think their converastion on the link is lunacy is that taking the whole reality of needing a good QB and OL, Boldin was still kickin' butt when he did not have that before Warner or Fitz but for one to think that Welker (though good in their system as he was good in a system at Texas Tech) is in the same realm of Boldin is just hilarious

don't get me wrong, i think boldin a better wr than welker, but i think you're also underselling welker's talent. just b/c he wasn't a high draft choice, he's white, he wasn't highly touted, or he runs the underneath routes doesn't make him any less talented. the dude can ball.

and of course my previous comment was based on potential. unless we could give each set of wr's the same qb, oline, and game situations we can't ever really truly know who has the best tandem.

It was never discussed during the debate is the fact all the other teams have a running attack to help open up the passing.. We did not ranking 32..... So other teams knew we were going to throw and yet Fitz/Boldin were and are able to produce in such a high probowl manner... Not even a debate. The other WR's mentioned are great WR's but none produce as the duo our WR's...

They haven't even played together yet, it's entirely possible that Evans gets 3 straight passes in game 1 of the season, thus causing "I Was wide open" T.O to blow a gasket and get a headstart on blowing up Buffalo's locker room before halftime.
