Goal scorers and defenders: Vote for the TSSAA boys soccer player of the year at midseason in Nashville

We're on the back side of the TSSAA boys soccer season but The Tennessean has identified some of the top Nashville area players at midseason.

Now it's your turn to decide who you think should be the midseason player of the year. Vote now before the poll closes at noon on Sunday.

Offensive statistics are from games played through April 8.

Here are the candidates.

Khalil Arman, Riverdale: Arman led the Warriors with 10 goals and three assists.

Jack Doyle, Brentwood: Doyle, an attacker who has signed with Belmont University to play golf, led the Bruins with five goals and four assists.

Yeferson Gavarrete, Cane Ridge: The goalkeeper has more than 50 saves this season with five shutouts and has saved four penalty kicks.

Ryan Hendon, Station Camp: Hendon, a midfielder, had 12 goals and has added seven assists.

Tyler Kose, Ravenwood: Kose, one of the top defenders in the Nashville area, has led Ravenwood to a 8-3-1 record currently, with five shutouts.

Miguel Miranda, Gallatin: Miranda leads Gallatin with 13 goals and five assists.

Chris Parks, Davidson Academy: The forward led Davidson Academy with three goals and 10 shots on goal through the first eight games.

Aiden Pierpoint, Page: Pierpoint is among the top goal scorers in Middle Tennessee who had 18 with four assists.

Terrance Reynolds, Ensworth: The midfielder had nine of Ensworth's 10 goals through its first five games this season.

Roberto Romero, Macon County: A striker, Romero had seven goals and three assists in five games.

Sawyer Skelton, Franklin: Skelton recorded six shutouts in seven games and has allowed only one goal.

Landon Socha, Liberty Creek: Socha has 11 goals and four assists to lead the Wolves.
