After watching how Anderson and Hall have played, going after Whitehurst DOES make sense to me now. He would've fit right in.

What's really bad is that this season has made the Cardinals irrelevant once again.

And that's why this season sucks and hurts so bad. We turned a corner ... almost. It's like the past two years have meant nothing because we are now the same old Cards.

I think the Cards still win the division and I have no intention of apologizing for a 7 - 9 or 8 - 8 playoff appearance. We're going to get ripped nationally regardless, if for no other reason than we are in the NFC West. I'd much rather be the best team in the worst division than something even worse than that. You guys can throw it back in if you want to but how many of us would have sold our souls for a division title in the 90's?

If Troy Smith is the answer, the 49ers can run the table on their NFC West games...their defense will stifle all the offenses in the NFC West...rather easily, in fact.

Their defense has the talent and the moxie...

Plus their kicking game is stellar.

I agree & thats why I don't think the Cards & their pee wee style offense stand chance against them & will get swept by the Niners, despite many here believeing the Cards still win the West. It's a pipedream IMO.
