My plot hole.

I thought a big plot hole was that he just showed up. I know they tried to explain it away, but we are talking about ancient, primal animals and we are assigning some sort of logic or reasoning for his actions.

My biggest plot hole was how a dinky little whaling yacht could get a massive nuclear warhead a safe distance away from the city in 13 minutes. I mean seriously. Giant fire breathing Dinosaurs I can handle but there is no suspended reality where my brain could accept this nonsense, that was just ridiculous. lol Even if that boat could do 60knots per hour (which it couldn't possibly) but that still would only get the bomb 13 miles away = everybody dies

Trust me that whole sequence with the nuke will just make you laugh. They find it and they've got the specialist guy there who's only real function in the movie seems to be to disarm bombs, which he never does! lol but anyway he says he can disarm the nuke in 60 seconds. SO they get to the nuke and they are opening it up and the case is jammed. Like the little doors on the bomb open half way but get stuck, it's not like they're locked, lol. They look at the timer and they see there is only 23 minutes left... So one guy is like "We gotta get this open!" and the guy in charge says; "Theres no time, we gotta get this outta here and on the boat so it can get a safe distance away!!!"

Seriously what's more likely, that you guys can carry this 800lb bomb (I dont know how much it weighed but the thing was huge and took 6 guys to carry) out of this massive crater, through a city of rubble, past the dinosaur brawl, to the coast, load it onto the sightseeing yacht and get it a safe distance away in 23 minutes or is it more likely that you can pry the case open and let kick-ass disarm it? lol They made pretty good time though because they got it to the boat with 13 minutes left! lol HOOYAH!

I'm not the only one who noticed this, lol. I mean it takes some really bad writing for in the midst of a giant lizard fighting 2 giant beetles people to say; "wait a second! That sequence with the nuke was ridiculous!" lol

Saw it Monday in IMAX 3d with my girlfriend and her parents. They all loved it. Her dad loves those sorts of movies he was bored out of his mind until I suggested we go see it then he lit up and had a great time.

Way too expensive for IMAX but I figured if we're going to see it might as well go all out.

I saw it in 3D also. It was pretty good (even with the obvious plot holes). I thought it was funny that they were on a train in Honolulu - there is no such train!

I never saw any of the other Godzilla movies, so can't figure out why Godzilla would all of a sudden want to take on the MUTO. Territorial perhaps? :)

Entertaining. It was fun. Although I thought the movie was short on the actual fighting part. Just when things heated up they would constantly cut away. That annoyed me a bit but the sheer size of Godzilla on screen was a sight to behold. That was amazing.

They explain it in the movie the whole him being nature's way to restore order. In a lot of the Godzilla movies he's portrayed as a good guy.

I seen this today really wanted to see it in IMAX but I guess it's not showing there anymore. Loved it an instant favorite. I talky liked how they put emotion into the right scenes at the end much much better than the Transformer fight scenes.

I was watching I really upset on how I thought the film was going to end and in my mind I'm saying that's note this is supposed to happen then it turns around and happens just like it's supposed to. I loved it. At times I felt like a kid watching this
