More and more people are expecting a run on QBs in round 1, starting early.
Somebody will trade for Garapallo
Lots of trades this draft, starting with Cleveland and even extending into the late rounds.
The TV guys think they're going to look bad when they predict.
When the CBs go they'll go fast and long, maybe a record for 3 rounds.

I would be good with Watson in the first if Foster is gone (Bengals). Other then that I would prefer we wait till round 2, maybe Kizer or Webb. I agree though I think there will be a run and could see 4 qbs takin in the first.

The media is afraid to make predictions because I think even the teams themselves are going to be drafting scared with all 32 team boards being vastly different. You just don't really know what rounds guys will be available and a draft like this will be entertaining for the comic relief of some teams alone. I think this draft will establish which teams have the best scouting and front office more than any draft leading up to now

Strictly for need, we have to select a CB in Round one or two. And since good drafting dictates the BPA in the first, I'm thinking a second round CB. And while I have NO IDEA who that will be, based on recent DB history (The Cardinals), I'm guessing we go with, "The White Tiger".

Love your new avatar JG!

This may be the craziest draft to predict that we have ever seen. So many things can happen and a lot of it depends on QB's (including Garrapolo) and RB's (could be three taken before 13 or none).

Good. The more QBs that go early the better the chance that the Cardinals have to land a game changer like Corey Davis.

I really hope they don't draft a WR or TE with their 13th pick.

yep --

every year..... "we wont reach for a Qb", "we wont talk ourselves into liking a mediocre guy" ....

then on draft day, a run on Qbs happens.

i think for professionals, NFL FO types are subject to the same kinds of emotional/wishful thinking that the fans have:

something along the lines of "well, Dak Prescott had some of these same questions last year, and as it turns out, he would have been a bargain even in the top 10"

I hear a lot of speculation on the sports radio the last few days and I think one of two scenarios happens with a QB.

1. ARZ will go defense at #13 and will trade up using 2nd rounder and maybe 3rd rounder next year to get to back end of 1st round and take whichever of the Big 4 is still available because no one will be there at #45.

2. ARZ is a dark horse candidate to trade for Garoppolo (I think), keep hearing speculation that ARZ QBOF is already in the NFL. No one including CLE is willing to give a #1 for JG but maybe BB settles for a 2nd and maybe a future pick which ARZ has extra of now.

I expect 4 to be taken in the 1st Rd. I think Webb goes pretty soon after that.

Cardinals would need to be pro active to get any one of them.
