With 250,000 people expected to be in attendance for the 2025 NFL Draft and the Lambeau Field lots closed, parking will be at a premium.
Fans who park on the streets of neighborhoods surrounding Lambeau Field during the Green Bay Packers home games will have competition. And residents who let fans park on their lawns on game day have upped their prices, ranging from $75 to $200, depending on how close you get to Lambeau.
With that in mind, be prepared to walk.
"I would highly encourage people to wear good shoes and be prepared to do a lot of walking. It's not (a) walk to the stadium and then sit down in the bowl and watch a game for 2½, 3 three hours. It's a walk to the campus, it's a walk to the admission gate, and it's a walk to wherever you want to be within the campus," said Joel Gregozeski, manager of the village of Ashwaubenon. "It's definitely a walking event."
Discover Green Bay created a map that shows parking spots available, with most of them in the vicinity of Lambeau Field in Ashwaubenon and Green Bay. Some residents are also allowing people to tailgate and use their bathrooms while visiting.
It's not just homeowners offering lawn parking. Some business near the draft campus are renting out spots in their parking lots. For example, the Chuck E. Cheese, 1273 Lombardi Access Road, will be closed on April 24 and 25. It is renting out parking spaces and offering to-go pizzas.
You can also register your residence or business on the Discover Green Bay website if you have parking to provide for attendees.
With the extra traffic, there are some areas that have restricted parking. The village of Ashwaubenon posted a map on its Facebook page showing the sides of the streets that are restricted during the draft. For example, there will be no parking on Morris Avenue, from Holmgren Way to Shady Lane, from April 24-26
"What we're estimating per day is going to be comparable to a game day situation. A lot of that surface parking that you would typically see is not going to be available for the draft, so that saturation into the neighborhoods is probably going to be much greater than you would see on a game day," Gregozeski, said.
North of Lombardi Avenue is Green Bay territory. The city confirmed people can park on the street just like they would if it were a home game.
However, no parking will be allowed on Ridge Road, Oneida Street, and St. Agnes Drive, and on streets with the "NO PARKING DAY OF PACKER GAME" signs also apply to the draft. This will also apply to streets with the same sign in Ashwaubenon.
The city of Green Bay established the following rules regarding parking during the draft:
