I found good rates in Orlando and many others are staying outside of the Tampa area as well. For us, it was definitely worth the drive to save money.

Try Lakeland,Fl. 35 miles from the stadium and around 40 from Orlando. I got a room for 99.00 a night.

Rooms are as low as $30 a night in Orlando.

Do a Hotels.com search on Spring Hill, FL. It's an hour north. There are a lot of hotels around there for under $100.

It's been a gazillion years since I used to travel to Tampa on business, but the Admiral Benbow Inn used to be good and not too expensive.

I agree... try Lakeland and then Orlando... or do a search for tampa and put in the price you like and they will find the closest ones
