Talking with very reliable sources, and seeing evidence ourselves, Xbox Evolved believes that Microsoft, Rareware, MGM Studios (studio that makes the James Bond 007 movies) and Activision (holds the license for James Bond 007 titles right now) have come to an agreement to bring the Rareware developed Goldeneye 007 out to Xbox Live Arcade shortly before the new game developed by Activision is released.

The title will feature updated graphics, and of course an all-new Xbox Live multiplayer.

If this ends up happening, that's freaking awesome.

Believe it when I see it.

Fans have been asking for this, for years now.

I'm actually pretty worried that the game won't age as well as it should have.

Absolute classic.

For me, it will age well. I have a great respect for playing older games and putting them in the context and time in which they were made or popular.

I'm the same way with movies.

That is going to be so sweet. It will have updated graphics. I just played Golden Eye again about a year ago. The level design is still great. There are certain aspects that feel dated but it will hold up IMO.

In fact, the way they wrote the AI might be dated but it can't be any worse then the AI we see in the majority of shooter today using more complex methods. That's one area of gaming (with the exception of few titles) that gaming HAS NOT come a long way on.
