Mar. 16—Gonzaga is headed to Wichita, Kansas.
The Zags earned a No. 8 seed for the NCAA Tournament where they will play No. 9 Georgia in the opening round on Thursday in the Midwest Region. The winner will take on either No. 1 Houston or No. 16 SIU Edwardsville in the second round.
The Zags (25-8) won their last four games including the West Coast Conference Tournament. Georgia (20-12, 8-10 SEC) lost its first conference tournament game to Oklahoma.
