Sadly Ken Whisenhunt doesn't seem to realize that he makes any. He managed to take all of the bad tape from last season and place the blame on:

1. Derek Anderson, Max Hall and John Skelton for not executing
2. Billy Davis for not executing
3. Tim Hightower for not executing
4. Ben Graham for not executing
5. DRC and various others for not executing

Whisenhunt got his way on every front this offseason and he and his staff are making the same mistakes.

But in his post-game comments, it was the same old song: "the players didn't execute"

One wonders what kind of wake-up call it would take to humble this man

Its time for him to execute or have his status as HC executed.

Whis has the gall to say these are tough lessons. This is looking like the Denny Green era...lose tough game after tough game...and then fired(which I cant wait)

We need someone who will not put up with this crap.

How do we constantly make the same errors, play calling and lose game after game when leading and it not fall on the coaches?????

I have never seen a coach bounce the blame off of himself and make it stick on someone else with the reporters around here....more than the Whiz. Why are reporters afraid to ask him the right tough questions???

The Arizona reporters are just as much to blame and are pus6^^ just like Whiz.

And he has surrounded himself with yes-men like Grimm, Miller and Horton who don't stand up to him. Pride comes before the fall

True. He would be getting fried in many other cities.

Obviously, we had some spots where we didn't execute. Clearly, we need to make sure we clean those plays up next week. Are we a good football team right now? No, but like I said we feel we can be, but we need to clean up these mistakes and execute.

The problem is whiz does NOT seem to be learning anything continues to try and be cute on offense when it's not needed to win games!

I agree. Sometime in 2012 if we pick up someone who can get pressure on the passer from the edge.

Meanwhile 2011 will blow like a Blue Norther in the Texas Panhandle.

Whis just continues to pin mistakes on the lockout.

"There are a lot of those types of situations where we don't get a chance to cover them because we did not have an offseason that you talk about them," Whisenhunt said. "It's easy to talk about them, but until you have opportunities to go through them and rep them, it's a painful process."
Hey, Whis. Every other team also had to deal with the lockout. Some of them are executing. We're not. Maybe it's time to look into changing your methods.

The Lions were so lucky to not have to deal with the lockout.

The 49ers are lucky to have coaching continuity when not having to deal with the lockout.

There's a reason Whiz wasn't selected for the HC job at Pittsburgh. Sadly, we are seeing why up close and personal. :(

I guarantee you, when Whis does finally does make his first mistake ever he will definitely tell you how he had the right angle, but he just didn't execute cleanly. He'll clean it up and won't make another mistake ever again.

They're still blinded by Super Bowl glory. That should change once the blackouts start.

There won't be blackouts. Too many scalpers and true fans. I will NEVER give up my tickets. This team could go 0-fer and I would still be there. Spent too many years in the corner at the bar watching this team by myself to quit going to games.

Grimm watched the Super Bowl halftime show! He was less engaged in the game than I was, since I couldn't sit still and walked around the stadium a few times before the second half started.

Grimm watched the freaking Boss sing instead of imparting his fantastically amazing coaching nuggets of wisdom to his guys playing in ohidon'tknow the most important game of their lives.

That douche shouldn't have ANY of the Super Bowl shine on his ass.

I agree. Phoenix is just too fine a winter destination and now that the Cards no longer play in a Broiler, for every Cardinal fan who drops out a visiting fan will want to take their place and the scalpers and vacation consolidators will snap up the released season tickets.
