Go Miami - Wade:kill 'em Mavs. Just kill 'em

Wishful thinking? Well, no other option. Cuban pisses me off no end. I was googling for something about Magic and the NBA when I stumbled on this cheap piece BS:

That jackass :barf: Cuban has taken very cheap shots at Nash in this. My already plummeting respect for the Mavs owner just vanished.

I hate Shaquille O'Neal, so I'll be pulling for Dallas. Actually the only players on the Heat I can stand are Wade, Mourning, and Posey. Nowitzki powered one of my fantasy teams very close to a title, and it's hard not to be impressed with Howard, so I don't have a big problem with Dallas winning. Of course, Phoenix would have been better, but oh well.

I really want to see Shaq win without Kobe. If it weren't for Cuban, I would root for the Mavs. I like Dirk, and I like Avery. Can't stand Cuban though.... go Heat.

I like more of the players on the Mavs squad so I wont let Cuban stop me from wishing them well. Although Cuban gets under my skin far less then a lot of other fans.

But I would also like to see Shaq get a ring without Kobe.

Thanks, at least for those of you rooting for the Mavs in the Finals. You guys will all come back healthy next season, it's been a rough road for your team but Diaw AND Amare next season should be hella good.

I don't know why everyone cares about Cuban so much. He's a buffoon, and he's richer than any of us, maybe that's it. He's extremely smart and knows how to spend his money. He's also wrong about a lot of things.

But the plain fact of the matter is that the Mavs are a good team. And there may be some people that hate Dirk Nowitzki, but he's a damn good player and the Mavs beat the Spurs and us--the two most powerful teams in the West besides themselves to get there. Regardless of who their owner is, they've earned the right to go to the Finals.

That said, Dallas is easily the better team and should enjoy their first championship in a week.

To all of the gracious Suns fans...Thanks! Very unusal gesture especially with the sting that I know you're currently experiencing. I've been monitoring and posting on your board for most of the series. And although we haven't always agreed on every point, we had good dialogue. I truly hope the Mavs win it all this year, because frankly, the Suns scare the hell out of me for next year. What, when you get Amare back and beat the injury bug, the sky is the limit. Anyway thanks again. For those wanting the Heat to win, I fully understand your feeling about Cuban, he can really rub people the wrong way, shoot he even gets under our skin sometimes. But as an owner, he did what it took to get his team the opportunity to make the finals. You guys had a great year, considering all you went through!! :)

I agree, Cuban doesn't bother me so much. There are worse owners by far, and the guy is often pretty thoughtful. No, Payton, Williams, and Walker are great reasons for me to root for the Mavs...

I'm in the burn Kobe camp. I couldn't give a rats ass about Cuban. I like Nowitzki but not enough to drown out the hate for Kobe.

I like Nowitzki. Can't stand Stack, can't stand terry, harris is good- will be brilliant someday, Howard is very good.
don't like the rest of the Mavs - but they don't inspire as much disgust as Stackhouse and Terry.

Mark Cuban is disgusting. I don't care about his excessive whining too much. He just cares for his team so much and that should be appreciated. Moreover, his donations to charitable causes are very respect-worthy. I used to like the guy for his smarts and for making it this far on his own. Heck, I even used to read his blog once in a while. But he's turned out to be a very cheap guy, one with a very dirty side to him.

Nash left Dallas because they didn't think enough of him to pay him his asking rate. He had the decency to give Cuban the last call after Phoenix offered him $63 mil. He was that loyal. Cuban didn't match it. He left.
What business did he have in an org that didn't have enough faith in his abilities in the long run!

Once he left, Nash let his game to do all the talking - making Cuban look like an ass in the process. I don't know if Nash publicly dissing or took veiled swipes at him. But read Cuban's blog titled 'Dirk for MVP' (before the MVP ballot) and you'll be so damn disgusted at the number of swipes he takes at Nash's candidacy and why he didn't merit the award. That is downright cheap! The very fact that he wrote so much about why Nash was undeserving made it clear that he realized that Nash was the biggest threat (which translates to the fact that he realized Nash deserved it most)

You think your best player is so needy that you have to campaign for MVP votes for him, go ahead and extoll his virtues..don't take jabs at other contenders to make your man look good.
That article in the first place was lame and an unabashed appeal for attention for his candidate, which I think was unnecessary - players garner votes by their play on the court. But targetting Nash - a one-time friend with cheapshots , was a very ugly thing to do.
Cuban just won another hater.

That translates to one less Mavs fan. Dunno what he will dching your if his team gets a ring. probably streak in front of Nash' house.

Lastly , Mavzy - very classy of you to hang around after stomping us in Game 6 and discussing the series. One of the better Mavs fans I've encountered. Have fun watching your team in the Finals.

aaaaaah! my head is aching.

on one hand, there is cheapshot Cuban, rowdy Stackhouse, crotch-grabbing Avery... 'nuff said

Miami - hate :barf:Payton, don't like Shaq, but don't hate him and Kobe-less Shaq winning a ring seems nice
Wade is awesome - humble, brilliant on the court, total warrior.
Don't care much for the rest of the team.

so, ok GO HEAT!

1. I couldn't agree more, players should be selected by their play on the court and not through the rose colored glasses we fans wear. However, the media that votes are also biased at times, especially those on the east coast. That being said, I believe the MVP could have gone to any of about 5 players this year, Nash being one of those. I hated it when he left Dallas. 2. I concur with you, Cuban should not say some of the things he says about Steve. Steve was good for Dallas. I'm glad he got back-to-back MVP. Had he not gotten it, I would have liked to seen Dirk get it, he has refined his game so much over the past three years. Enjoy next year when Nash is dishing Amare the ball, and the run and gun style gets the Suns back to the WCF. I just hope the Mavs are there with you!

Cuban has the money, and the tactics. The mavs will be back. The only negative is you have no idea if dirk will have another shot at the mvp. Sadly I don't think he will get it because I think it will be lebrons by a long shot. As long as kobe isn't in the running for it again..

Good luck Mavs.

The Mavs were the better team this year.

I guess I will root for the Mavs because they are in our conference but like every year I mostly don't care who wins once the Suns are eliminated.

Here looking forward to an entertaining finals and a another great season next year for the Suns.

i don't mind Dirk winning it, if Nash doesn't win it hereon but I'd prefer Wade to win it. Purely because of Wade's style of play - explosive, fun to watch, unselfish.

I really want him to win instead of LeBron. Bron gave himself the name King and that speaks enough about what kind of a guy he is. Wade on the other hand is super humble and a nice guy at heart.

Nowitzki - love his soft touch, the arc on his shots. but I find his drives and post-ups very awkward looking; that kind of puts me off. but these 2 guys - wade and Dirk are far better MVP choices than anyone else. The rest of 'em will start floating when they get an award like that.

Lebron was the nba's baby boy, and next year he will be the young preshooler kid that everybody in the family gushes about. Dirk will be a year older. At least that's what I think the picture will turn out to be and thats not even counting lebron having another monster season.

This is the Mavs year.
Next year, it will be the Suns for sure.

Thanks for the support for the Mavs. Nash has already said that he will be at the games supporting Dirk.
Those two guys really care about one another. It's very sweet.
Dirk and Nash are both really classy guys. They are so much alike.
Again, thanks for the congratulations and for the fun series.

Don't know why the Shaq hate. Would not mind seeing him and wade win one. Really no one on their team bothers me all that much. Can't stand Cubans whining ass. Dirk is ok... but needs to lose that tongue wag. Terry is a punk. Stackhouse is a marble mouth. So I guess I would love to see Dirk have a huge series but lose.

Mavs. I hope they sweep Dwyaywyane "I'm Humble, just ask me and I'll tell you about it" Wade, Shaquille "Pay me m'fer" O'Neal, Antoine "I shoot so many threes 'cause there's no four pointer" Walker, Gary "I won't run no triangle" Payton and the bunch.

About the only guy on the Heat I respect is 'Zo.

I hope the Mavs CRUSH this team. No ring for Shaq, ever again.

And Cuban is a fantastic owner; I don't understand the boiling over hatred you have for him.
