Ben should be drafted ahead of Rivers.

Who exactly is left who will take a QB #1.

It doesn't sound like a lot of teams are in need anymore.

MIA and CLE got older "win now" QBs why draft a rookie QB that won't win now. PIT might do that but they have always been a win now team. DAL got Henson.

Who is going to draft Eli and Ben?
GB wants a QB I know that.

Hmmm I wouldn't be surprised if Rivers is there in Round 2.

By the way I had Joe Montana as my number 1 pick that year how I prayed the Vikes would take him. Argh!

If I'm picking for the Cards, I take Philip Rivers at #3.

I haven't seen Ben or Eli but after the Senior bowl I would have no problem with Rivers as our Number one.

I like Rivers but not a #3.

I'd as soon pick Joan Rivers at #3........not sure about the bust potential.

I hear Muddy Waters is coming out of retirement!

Nope. Philip Rivers is the real deal. If you believe in a player you draft him, regardless of the gurus' opinions.

I remind you that Joe Montana was a third round pick. In hindsight, he'd have been the #1 pick in the draft.

Philip Rivers should be the #1 pick in this draft. Gallery #2. There is no #3. Nine different guys are equal here.

TRuth be said, had Montana been taken with the 3rd pick of the draft somebody would have been fired.
Thats why players are taken when the are. Potential and potential flaws all come into play.

We have DG now. Every QB he has touched has turned to gold. We don't need a "hall of fame" qb to make this a winning team. If that was the case then we should have gone out and signed Peyton Manning this year.
That sounds ALMOST as crazy as drafting Rivers with the #3 pick.

Ben R, is a primo athlete who can really move, plus a cannon for an arm.
Also has a good attitude about himself. Rivers throws a side arm and that always scares me, to easy for a big lineman to bat down. They might try to change that. I hope that they wake up and draft Ben at 3.

After taping 4 or 5 games and watching him in those games very closely this year I think he is the best QB coming out in this years draft. Watching him in his interviews I agree with you about his attitude. He seems like a great guy. He comes from a good family with a respectable upbringing. I also really like that he went to the combine and worked out. He did perform well there.
