Way too many NFL fans are dog water. I enjoy having some drinks, talking a bit of ish, and letting opposing fans (even when they’re my buddies) know when the team I root for is up, but I’m not on the field…. That’s my favorite thing to ask the ultra a hole fan “what number are you dude? I didn’t see you out there?”

It’s entertainment. It’s not that I lack a bit of passion for the cardinals, but I just got shot at last week and I’m gonna have to start focusing on my next job tomorrow; I wasn’t suited up today and I’m not going to go over emotional with a loss or a win. It’s a effin game….

In my whole life, I've always been a good winner but a poor loser. Would have thought it would be the opposite, since I've had many more losses than wins. At least in FB.

And probably why she was a first wife :)
ya know if i recall.. that was actually before we even got married.

Left her in Blythe, CA...we lived in Tempe at the time.

we would go visit her family and she would sit around and do nothing all weekend. then when I started loading the car on sunday night to head home??

all of a sudden that mouth started running and she would stand on the porch and talk for hours.

broke her of that habit in a single stroke.

My FIL is a Lakers fan and he used to pull similar crap when they beat the Suns. It’s obnoxious

Exactly. If you bought the tickets, they buy the refreshments.
however he may wish to be the gracious host so as to create an environment of appreciation and thanks. Thus eliminating the chance for ish talking in case the cardinals lose, which did not happen

haha

Unless it was their birthday or something, GTHO.

I have always known that Chris is a nicer guy than I am though.

Pretty sure these same in-laws just had their house damaged in Hurricane Ian.

Still - a nicer guy than I am also.

Chris, I feel your pain brother. I sat in a whole section of eagles losers, with 2 rows of my boys/ cousin. I was prepared to give them hell had we won but would have expressed some sympathy after the loss. ( same as I did on Philly radio after the NFC championship game) After all, we traveled from Philly, and spent a nuce chunk of $$$ for the experience. After the game some were gracious, some were straight insufferable. I threatened my cousin not to post video to social media of me walking up the stairs after the game as eagles fans were riding me. Losing is bad. Losing to THEM is the worst feeling in sports.

Yeah, whenever we win, we tell opposing fans "Good game." Depending on the fan base you'll get a handshake or the finger.

We do not dance around like we won the Super Bowl or gather en masse in the emptying stands and chant the team's name or slogan.

The stadium announces "Dance Party Time" and blasts some song like "This Is Our House." At least if I am recalling correctly from a year ago... :)
We are classy, but I tell you what B. If we had won, I would have been giving eagles fans the absolute business. Maybe it's the Philly in me, but I believe if you can dish it, you gotta be able to take it. Problem is, I would have probably been alone in the trash talk, as I could barely get a fellow Cards fan to give me a high five pre-game in the concourse as eagles fans were sashaying through our stadium as if they owned the place. I love our fans to death. We don't gotta be like eagles fans losers, but maybe a little pushback when we're being disrespected and dismissed and having that game be called a "home game" by those dopes. If I had the backup of a group of Cards fans I would have chanted "fly eagles fly" while doing the griddy as they filed out, mad! Probably would have done it by myself now that I think about it. I hate that team ad it's fans so much.
