I agree. I get drug tested at least six times a year for my job. I don't even think about smoking pot because I would lose my job and my license. D-Wash should do the same no doubt but I still think what a person does on there own time should be their choice.

While I agree pot should be legal, the idea that a what a person does on their own time should be their own choice is far, far too open-ended. What if someone likes sacrificing babies on their own time?

Glazer reported on Fox this morning that Dweed has repeatedly violated drug policies & also hasn't met league guidelines. Said his NFL career is likely over.

glazer is a P.R guy ,he has many football players and manager friends,so he is probably the more informed journalist around NFL.

But, it is. End of story. Look at how many other pro athletes can control themselves and not smoke pot during their careers and it goes to show even more what a joke Daryl is. What an absolute waste of on-field talent because he has no brains or no will power off the field. What a joke.

I will FTFY: MANY players in the league smoke pot and have long careers doing so. I have buddies who played in/were part of the league. As long as you piss clean the single time a year you are tested, you can pretty much go back to blazing Monday-Friday nights of the season. Many athletes use THC as a recovery drug, which it is quite effective at being (without the hangover, slowing of the GI system, and physical dependency).

Darryl issue is obviously self-control... Darryl wasting-ton. It's sad IMO.

If this is the case then the Cards need to cut bait with this moron. He's more concerned with his own self gratification than of the teams so let him go to the Cowboys with the rest of the criminals.

Pretty sure that the Cards have already cut bait and moved on. It's the fans that don't want to give up hope of him playing again - myself included.

Isn't the saying are you going to fish or cut bait? I think the Cards are still cutting bait as we speak. They need to FISH instead of cut bait. The real issue is with the CBA the way it is they were are better off keeping him then cutting him, salary cap wise.
