I read that last link I posted in Wired Magazine. here's a link to the article and some more google map stuff. Google scavenger hunt sounds good, I haven't looked at it yet though.

I have Google Earth.
It is really cool. I got a notice on it because I used to subscribe to Keyhole that Google Earth is based on. Google Earth is better because so far it is free.
Google bought Keyhole to create Google Maps and Google Earth.
